On October 16th, Corporal Jeremy Read of the Lower Allen Township Police Department was honored by the Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties with the 2025 Advocacy Award. Cpl. Read was nominated by a victim and was recognized for his compassion, professionalism, and competence in the handling of a domestic situation.
