THE CAMP HILL POLICE DEPARTMENT IS INVESTIGATING A POSSIBLE SKIMMER DEVICE THAT WAS FOUND INSIDE THE 7-ELEVEN, 3180 MARKET STREET.  THIS DEVICE WAS FOUND BY AN EMPLOYEE OF THE STORE.  IT WAS PLACED ON THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE AT THE FRONT CASH REGISTER.  

ANYONE THAT HAS USED A CREDIT AND/OR BANK CARD AT THIS LOCATION (WITHIN THE PAST FOUR WEEKS OR SO), AND HAVE NOTICED ANY FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY ON THEIR ACCOUNTS IS ASKED TO CONTACT THE INVESTIGATING OFFICER - CHAD TATE @ 717-737-1570 EXT. 1537 OR CTATE@CAMPHILLPOLICE.ORG.  

THE CAMP HILL POLICE WOULD LIKE TO REMIND EVERYONE TO ALWAYS CLOSELY MONITOR THEIR BANK/CREDIT CARD ACCOUNTS FOR ANY UNUSUAL ACTIVITY AND REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY TO THEIR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.  7-11 IS AWARE OF THIS AND HAVE TAKEN THE APPROPRIATE MEASURES.
