On July 1st, 2025, the Camp Hill Police Department received a theft complaint from a victim at an address in the 100 block of South 15th Street. During an investigation it was found that a caregiver had exploited her position of trust to access the victim's financial resources and made personal unauthorized purchases using the victims accounts. The caregiver who possessed access devices belonging to the victim used them for unauthorized personal purchases in the amount of approximately $4,258.13. This resulted in a 34-year-old female with a Camp Hill address being charged with Access Device Fraud, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Financial Exploitation of an Adult or Care-Dependent Person.
