RETAIL THEFT

On Sunday, September 18, 2022 at or about 1143 hours the Camp Hill Police Department was dispatched to the Boscov's department store in the Camp Hill Shopping Center for a report of a retail theft in progress. A male suspect had cut $20 worth of watches out of their packaging with a knife while inside of the store and then concealed them in his pants before fleeing loss prevention in the parking lot. The suspect was later apprehended on Dickinson Avenue and upon his arrest began shouting obscenities in the direction of Boscov's in a residential area. This suspect was later determined to have multiple shoplifting convictions out of the state of Colorado. A 64 year old man with no fixed address was subsequently charged with felony retail theft, possessing instruments of a crime, and disorderly conduct.
