On Monday May 09, 2022 at or about 1200 hours the Camp Hill Police Department was dispatched to the Boscov's Department Store located at 170 S. 32nd Street for an active shoplifting incident. While heading to the scene responding officers learned that a male suspect had taken the price tags off of multiple rings from the jewelry counter, placed the rings in his pocket and left the store without paying for them. Boscov's loss prevention provided a vehicle description to responding officers and an officer located the suspect vehicle traveling on the South Bridge heading towards Harrisburg. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on the bridge at the 2nd Street exit.  The vehicle was being operated by the male who had taken the rings. This resulted in an 18 year old male with a Hummelstown address being taken into custody and charged with Retail Theft.
