A Cumberland County jury convicted Floyd Robinson of Aggravated Assault (serious bodily injury) and Aggravated Assault (bodily injury with a deadly weapon). The Defendant’s conviction stems from an incident on B Street in Carlisle. The Defendant chased down the victim and stabbed him in back with a butcher knife. The attack was interrupted by Officer Ronald Hoover who apprehended the Defendant and provided aid to the victim. The victim received medical attention for his injuries at Holy Spirit Hospital. The defendant is currently incarcerated in state prison on unrelated charges.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy District Attorney Elizabeth Judd and Officer Ryan Mennor of the Carlisle Borough Police Department.
