On January 11, 2023, members of Cumberland County Criminal Investigation Division were assisted by Pennsylvania State Police – Computer Crimes and Homeland Security with executing a search warrant at the residence of Frank Svitak in Plainfield, Cumberland County,  Svitak is a retired fire chief from the Goshen Fire Department in New Jersey.

The investigation began after receiving a cybertip that child pornography was being downloaded.  At the scene, computer forensics found approximately 111 videos and images of child pornography on the devices.    The defendant is currently being held on $25,000 bail and the preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 19, 2023 at 8:45 am in from of Magisterial District Judge Vivian Cohick.
