The District Attorney’s Office has received reports from county residents about an individual posing as a member of the Office and subsequently requesting money.  The name being used is an actual member of the office, but that individual is not making the calls.  Further the DA’s office would not call and request money.  If you receive a call or message that’s similar in nature from someone saying they work for the office, please call the main office number at 717-240-6210 to confirm.  Do not provide personal information, including credit cards or bank accounts, over the phone.
