After many meetings and conversations with local officials, the decision has been made to take as many safety precautions as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In order to keep our employees safe and 'flatten the curve' of the virus, our department will be taking necessary precautions which are as follows:
- No individuals, other than employees, will be permitted into the East Pennsboro Township Building to include the police station until further notice. If something needs dropped off, you may utilize the Township drop box at the main entrance to the building. It will be checked every two (2) hours during normal business hours.
- If you need to report a crime or incident, please contact the police via phone and not in person. If officers need to take the report in person, they will respond to take the information at that time. The non-emergency phone number for law enforcement dispatch is (717) 238-9676.
- No non-essential functions of the police department will be scheduled at this time. This includes things such as fingerprinting, child safety seat installations, and VIN verifications.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation and will keep you updated with information as it becomes available.
