On March 24, 2015, the East Pennsboro Township Police Department received a complaint that a female employee of the Golden Living Center had $2,600 cash taken from her purse. The purse was to be in a locked office that only employees have access to. The investigation revealed that another employee, Mabel O. Iduoze, had taken the money from the purse for her child's college education. Iduoze was arrested and charged with Theft and will face a preliminary hearing before District Judge Richard Dougherty.

Charges:

On April 13, 2015 at approximately 8:12 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police observed a male, Asaph Aroko, who was known by the officers to have a PFA against him excluding him from a residence in the 500 block of W. Cumberland Road. Aroko was observed walking into the residence, officers made contact with him and arrested him for the PFA violation. Aroko will face a hearing before a Cumberland County Common Pleas Judge.

On March 15, 2015 at 1:41 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to a single vehicle crash at 2nd Street and 1st Avenue. The officer spoke with the operator, Ericka D. M. Leeper, while EMS was tending to her. At this time, it was found that Leeper was under the influence of alcohol. Leeper was charged with DUI, Careless driving, Failure to drive vehicle at a safe speed, and Failure to use a seat belt. She will face a preliminary hearing before a District Judge in Cumberland County DUI Central Court.

Charges:

On April 2, 2015 at approximately 8:22 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to the area of Valley Road to check for a possible DUI. It was reported than an off duty officer was following a vehicle that was traveling erratically. The vehicle was located in a driveway in the 500 block of 1st Street, Summerdale, with the operator, Gregory R. Bilger, inside the residence. Bilger was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI. He will face a preliminary hearing before a District Judge in Cumberland County DUI Central Court.

On April 7, 2015 at approximately 11:50 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched along with EMS to a residence for a fall victim. The investigation revealed that a female at the residence had gotten into an argument with Riccardo Cortez Saunders over text messages. The female tried to call 911 but Saunders took the phone from her. He then grabbed her by both of her arms and started yelling in her face. She then was pushed and punched all over her upper body, including her abdomen. Saunders fled the residence prior to police arrival.

East Pennsboro Police are receiving numerous calls for attempted phone scams.  The phone numbers on caller ID oftentimes appear to be coming from a local source.  The phone numbers are spoofed and the calls actually originate from out of the country.  Residents are cautioned not to provide any personal information to include credit card and banking numbers to anyone over the phone or through email.

Incident Type:

On July 13, 2014 a theft of a commercial Scag Zero Turn mower, orange in color, model SCZ52V-27CV, from a building at Sheaffer Ball Field, Wertzville Road, Enola. The mower belongs to the East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League. East Pennsboro Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the A To Z Mart, 38 Erford Road, Camp Hill on August 9, 2014 at 10:10 PM.

Actor entered the store and displayed a handgun and demanded the clerk hand over all of the money.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  The actor then fled the store on foot.

The actor is described as a white male, in his early 20's and approximately 5'11" and was wearing a grey in color hoody sweatshirt.

On September 23, 2014 at approximately 2:15 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a report of a hit and run at James' Bar.  The victim's vehicle was parked directly in front of the entrance to the establishment when an unknown vehicle backed into the driver's side rear quarter panel.  It appears the suspect vehicle may be white in color based upon the paint transfer.  Security footage was obtained and employees provided this photo.  The investigating officer was advised the suspect name is possibly "Andy" or "Andrew".  If you know the individual pictured,
