On April 22, 2016 at 5:15pm, East Pennsboro Police investigated a report of physical abuse of a 4 year old child at the 1st Block of East Manor Ave, Enola.  Police found that Harry Tavernia JR, 38, of that address, threw a cane and struck the child in the back causing injuries to the child.

On April 19, 2016 at approximately 830am, East Pennsboro Police were called to the 700 Block of Manor Road, Camp Hill, for a male to be at the house banging on the doors and windows for the past hour attempting to get in the home.  Police located, Ruben Pierch, 37, of the 3000 block of Powells Valley Rd, Halifax at the residence.  When police arrived he was holding a brick as though he was going to use it to break a window to the residence.  Pierch refused to leave the residence and when police attempted to take him into custody he attacked the officers causing injuries.

On April 15, 2016, at approximately 2am, East Pennsboro Police responded to a vehicle crash on the Camp Hill Bypass (Spur 770) near Erford Road Exit.  Police found that Destiny Levi-Bennett, 20, of the 1st Block of Oakland MN, Highspire, had crashed her vehicle into the median and then ran from the car on foot.  Officers located her a few blocks away and found her to be under the influence of alcohol.

Charges:

On January 26, 2016, the East Pennsboro Police were dispatched to 208 Senate Avenue, Camp Hill, PA for a fire that had just occurred.  Susquehanna View Apartments is an eleven story apartment complex consisting of 200 one bedroom apartments.  A joint investigation between the East Pennsboro Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police, Fire Marshall Division, determined the fire was intentionally set by a resident, Tiffany Ann Moore.

On March 14, 2016 at approximately 11:30pm, East Pennsboro Police stopped a vehicle in the area of 2nd and State Streets West Fairview for traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Jessica Hinkle, 46, of the 1100 block of 2nd Street, West Fairview was found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

East Pennsboro Police are receiving numerous calls for attempted phone scams.  The phone numbers on caller ID oftentimes appear to be coming from a local source.  The phone numbers are spoofed and the calls actually originate from out of the country.  Residents are cautioned not to provide any personal information to include credit card and banking numbers to anyone over the phone or through email.

On July 13, 2014 a theft of a commercial Scag Zero Turn mower, orange in color, model SCZ52V-27CV, from a building at Sheaffer Ball Field, Wertzville Road, Enola. The mower belongs to the East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League. East Pennsboro Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the A To Z Mart, 38 Erford Road, Camp Hill on August 9, 2014 at 10:10 PM.

Actor entered the store and displayed a handgun and demanded the clerk hand over all of the money.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  The actor then fled the store on foot.

The actor is described as a white male, in his early 20's and approximately 5'11" and was wearing a grey in color hoody sweatshirt.
