A joint investigation between the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, New York City Police Department, US Custom Immigrations Enforcement, Cumberland County District Attorney's Office, West Shore Regional Police Department and East Pennsboro Township Police Department resulted in the arrest of Vijayar Soundarapandian for the Possession of Child Pornography.  A search warrant was executed on his residence located in Long Meadows Apartments in Camp Hill.  Soundarapandian was arraigned before MDJ Dougherty and bailed was set at $250,000.  He was transported to Cumberland Count

On August 8, 2015 at approximately 10:50pm, East Pennsboro Police were called by an off-duty PA Capitol Police officer who was following a driver that was all over the roadway, nearly striking vehicles and other objects.  Officers stopped the driver on West Glenwood Drive, Camp Hill.  The driver, Sean Mauck, 44, of the 100 block of Summit Ave, Hagerstown, MD, was found by police to be driving under the influence of alcohol.  Mauck was charged with DUI. 

Charges:

On August 13, 2015 at approximately 11:50pm, East Pennsboro Police on patrol observed a vehicle committ numerous traffic violations on route 11-15.  Officers stopped the vehicle and found the driver, Ray Rodgers, 29, of the 400 block of Garden Drive, Mechanicsburg, to be under the influence of alcohol.  Rodgers was charged with DUI and Driving under DUI Suspended License and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

Charges:

On July 18, 2015, at approximately 4:00am, East Pennsboro Police were called to the Aroogas restaurant at 1300 Old Bypass in Camp Hill for reports of a man with a gun.  Police investigation found that Denton Spencer, 25, of the 200 block of Reserve Way, Harrisburg, was carrying a concealed firearm inside the restaurant.  Spencer was charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License.

On August 18, 2015 at approximately 1:00pm, East Pennsboro Police investigated a theft and unauthorized use of a credit card.  The card was used at the ATM machine in the Unimart on Wertzville Road, Enola.  Police investigation found that Colby Deiter, 23, of the 1st block of Nathan Drive, Enola, stole the card and used it without permission. Deiter was charged with Theft and Access Device Fraud.

East Pennsboro Police are receiving numerous calls for attempted phone scams.  The phone numbers on caller ID oftentimes appear to be coming from a local source.  The phone numbers are spoofed and the calls actually originate from out of the country.  Residents are cautioned not to provide any personal information to include credit card and banking numbers to anyone over the phone or through email.

Incident Type:

On July 13, 2014 a theft of a commercial Scag Zero Turn mower, orange in color, model SCZ52V-27CV, from a building at Sheaffer Ball Field, Wertzville Road, Enola. The mower belongs to the East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League. East Pennsboro Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the A To Z Mart, 38 Erford Road, Camp Hill on August 9, 2014 at 10:10 PM.

Actor entered the store and displayed a handgun and demanded the clerk hand over all of the money.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  The actor then fled the store on foot.

The actor is described as a white male, in his early 20's and approximately 5'11" and was wearing a grey in color hoody sweatshirt.

On September 23, 2014 at approximately 2:15 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a report of a hit and run at James' Bar.  The victim's vehicle was parked directly in front of the entrance to the establishment when an unknown vehicle backed into the driver's side rear quarter panel.  It appears the suspect vehicle may be white in color based upon the paint transfer.  Security footage was obtained and employees provided this photo.  The investigating officer was advised the suspect name is possibly "Andy" or "Andrew".  If you know the individual pictured,
