On January 28, 2015 at 4:28 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to Shur Fine, 429 N. Enola Road, for a retail theft. It was reported that a white female suspect walked out of the store carrying pretzel buns that she failed to pay for. An employee followed the suspect out of the store and obtained the registration from the vehicle. An officer responded to the residence where the vehicle was registered and spoke with Patricia A. Rigg. The pretzel buns were observed in Rigg's kitchen and she admitted to stealing them from Shur Fine.

Charges:

On February 15, 2015 at approximately 8:46 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police and East Pennsboro Fire Department were dispatched to the railroad tracks in the area of the Conodoguinet Creek Bridge in West Fairview for a report of a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, a 2001 gold Dodge Caravan was found completely engulfed in flames. While the fire department extinguished the flames, the police searched the surrounding area and located the driver, Yekalo T. Ghidey, in the Grotto Pub. Ghidey admitted to driving the vehicle and stated that he had made a wrong turn.

ON OR ABOUT 2/15/2015 AT 1850HRS, THE EAST PENNSBORO TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO THE KMART LOCATED AT 463 NORTH ENOLA RD, ENOLA, PA. 17025 FOR AN ACTIVE ROBBERY IN PROGRESS. THE SUSPECT PRODUCED A NOTE TO THE VICTIMS DEMANDING THE MONEY AND THAT HE HAD A GUN. THE MALE WENT INTO A CUSTOMER LINE AND DEMANDED THE MONEY. THE CLERK STEPPED BACK WHILE THE MALE GRABBED THE MONEY. THE MALE THEN WENT TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA AND DEMANDED THE MONEY FROM THE VICTIM. THE SUSPECT FLED THE STORE WITH A TOTAL OF $932.85.

On February 10, 2015 at 8:00 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a phone call from the U.S. Marshal Task Force advising that they had just arrested Sophia Rae Williams. She was wanted out of the Rockledge Police Department, Florida, for an accessory after the fact to 1st degree murder. Rockledge Police will be extraditing Williams back to Florida. The East Pennsboro Township Police Department charged Williams with being a Fugitive from Justice and she is being held in the Cumberland County Prison awaiting extradition.

On January 10, 2015 at approximately 12:26 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to Kmart, 463 N. Enola Road, for an employee theft. It was reported that a cashier, Ayana K. Addison had taken a total of $275 from her cash register from November 21, 2014 to January 5, 2015. Addison admitted to taking money from her register on several occasions. She was arrested for Theft and will face a preliminary hearing before District Judge Richard Dougherty.

East Pennsboro Police are receiving numerous calls for attempted phone scams.  The phone numbers on caller ID oftentimes appear to be coming from a local source.  The phone numbers are spoofed and the calls actually originate from out of the country.  Residents are cautioned not to provide any personal information to include credit card and banking numbers to anyone over the phone or through email.

Incident Type:

On July 13, 2014 a theft of a commercial Scag Zero Turn mower, orange in color, model SCZ52V-27CV, from a building at Sheaffer Ball Field, Wertzville Road, Enola. The mower belongs to the East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League. East Pennsboro Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the A To Z Mart, 38 Erford Road, Camp Hill on August 9, 2014 at 10:10 PM.

Actor entered the store and displayed a handgun and demanded the clerk hand over all of the money.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  The actor then fled the store on foot.

The actor is described as a white male, in his early 20's and approximately 5'11" and was wearing a grey in color hoody sweatshirt.

On September 23, 2014 at approximately 2:15 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a report of a hit and run at James' Bar.  The victim's vehicle was parked directly in front of the entrance to the establishment when an unknown vehicle backed into the driver's side rear quarter panel.  It appears the suspect vehicle may be white in color based upon the paint transfer.  Security footage was obtained and employees provided this photo.  The investigating officer was advised the suspect name is possibly "Andy" or "Andrew".  If you know the individual pictured,
