On December 10, 2014, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a phone call from the father of a 3 year old child female child who reported that he believed his daughter's daycare teacher, Shelley J. Kolln, was abusing the children she cares for. It was reported that in mid-October of 2014, the complainant noticed several injuries to his daughter's face, ear and back. The child reported to her father that the injuries were caused by her teacher, Shelley, and that she hits the children with spoons and chokes them when they are crying.

On January 31, 2015 at 4:23 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to McDonalds, 425 N. Enola Road, for a 20 year old in cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, the male was found to be lying on the floor at the counter and was breathing shallowly with a weak heart rate. No one was able to identify the male, so the officer searched his pockets for identification. While searching his pockets, the officer located a used syringe, 5 bags of unopened heroin, 5 empty bags that looked similar to the heroin packaging, along with other drug paraphernalia.

Charges:

On April 10, 2015 at approximately 6:00 PM, the East Pennsboro Township Police went to a residence to attempt to serve a warrant. While at the residence, officers spoke with Amanda Malone, who advised the suspect was not in the residence. Malone advised that she did not know where the suspect was staying or worked and that she had not seen him for several days. Officers heard a noise from the second floor which she claimed was her child. They asked for permission to search, which she granted. Officers found the suspect hiding in a closet on the second floor of the home.

On May 1, 2015, at approximately 12:25 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to a domestic. Upon arrival, officers approached the home and observed Emma C. Steffee screaming loudly outside the residence. She then picked up an object and smashed it on the victim's vehicle. When officers approached Steffee, she was found to be highly intoxicated. Officers also spoke with the victim and found that after an argument, Steffee had pushed and scratched him causing numerous bloody injuries to his arm, shoulder and face.

On January 18, 2015, at approximately 1:34 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police observed a vehicle traveling north on N. Enola Drive at a high rate of speed. The officer began to follow the vehicle and observed continued erratic driving and conducted a traffic stop on Woodridge Drive at Greengate Drive. The operator, Lamar C. Holmes, was found to be intoxicated. Holmes was taken into custody and during a search of his person, three loose pills which he did not have a prescription for, were located in his pocket.

East Pennsboro Police are receiving numerous calls for attempted phone scams.  The phone numbers on caller ID oftentimes appear to be coming from a local source.  The phone numbers are spoofed and the calls actually originate from out of the country.  Residents are cautioned not to provide any personal information to include credit card and banking numbers to anyone over the phone or through email.

Incident Type:

On July 13, 2014 a theft of a commercial Scag Zero Turn mower, orange in color, model SCZ52V-27CV, from a building at Sheaffer Ball Field, Wertzville Road, Enola. The mower belongs to the East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League. East Pennsboro Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the A To Z Mart, 38 Erford Road, Camp Hill on August 9, 2014 at 10:10 PM.

Actor entered the store and displayed a handgun and demanded the clerk hand over all of the money.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  The actor then fled the store on foot.

The actor is described as a white male, in his early 20's and approximately 5'11" and was wearing a grey in color hoody sweatshirt.

On September 23, 2014 at approximately 2:15 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a report of a hit and run at James' Bar.  The victim's vehicle was parked directly in front of the entrance to the establishment when an unknown vehicle backed into the driver's side rear quarter panel.  It appears the suspect vehicle may be white in color based upon the paint transfer.  Security footage was obtained and employees provided this photo.  The investigating officer was advised the suspect name is possibly "Andy" or "Andrew".  If you know the individual pictured,
