The East Pennsboro Township Police Department responded to a 911 hang up on 11/23/23 at 1857 hrs.    Police were able to make contact with a victim, who indicated she had been assaulted and stabbed.   The alleged suspect was barricaded within the residence.      Throughout contact with the suspect he threatened officers and threw items at the officers.   Officers were eventually able to take the suspect into custody at approximately 0124 hrs. 

The East Pennsboro Township Police Department would like to thank the following agencies who assisted at the scene: Police officers from Camp Hill, Hampden Twp,, West Shore Regional,  Lower Allen Twp., the Cumberland County Special Response Team; Dispatchers from the Cumberland County Department Safety, East Pennsboro Township EMS, and Enola Fire Company #3.    

The suspected was arrested for aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and other charges.   He is currently awaiting preliminary arraignment.
