The police department received multiple inquires and comments about a current Tik Tok trend where an individual records themselves, appearing to, urinate at various locations in Mechanicsburg. While only one of the recordings is in the Borough of Mechanicsburg specifically, this particular video is being investigated as a criminal trespass. The individual is seen inside the Mechanicsburg Pool at nighttime while the pool was not open to the public. Access to the pool by the individual(s) is believed to not have been lawful at the time and an investigation is ongoing. If the individual(s) come forward, their honesty and willingness to identify themselves will be taken into consideration of an eventual outcome. Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact the police department.
