On September 4th, 2025, at approximately 4:17 pm, officers were dispatched to the intersection of South Market Street and Legacy Park Drive. Upon arrivals officers were advised a crash had occurred between two vehicles and one of the vehicles left the scene. The individual who remained advised they were travelling south on South Market Street and made a left turn onto Legacy Park Drive. A vehicle stopped at the stop sign facing west, pulled forward and struck the victim's vehicle. After the crash the striking vehicle left the scene without providing information to the victim. The striking vehicle was reported as a maroon Honda Accord. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
