On October 11th, 2025, at approximately 4:23 pm, the police department was contacted by a victim who resides in the 700 block of South Market Street about their cell phone being taken. The victim advised they had a cell phone delivered via FEDEX and upon receiving the package found it had been opened and taped back up. The cell phone which was supposed to be inside was gone. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
