On January 7th, 2020 Newville Police took a report of a domestic that happened on Friday January 3rd, 2020. The victim reports that between the hours of 2200-2300 on Friday January 3rd, 2020 that she was awoken by her boyfriend KEVIN J BYLER screaming and shaking her. The victim reported that BYLER later grabbed butcher knives from the kitchen and threw the knives at her. 

Newville Police conducted several interviews and BYLER was taken into custody on Wednesday January 15th, 2020. BYLER of Newville was charged with the following,  Title 18 2702 (a)(4) Aggravated assault, (18) 2705 - Recklessly Endangering Another Person, (18) 2701 (a)(1) Simple Assault and (18) 2709 (a)(1) Harassment.
