On 08-27-2021 at approximately 2045 Newville Police conducted a traffic stop on a red sedan for an inoperable taillight. The operator was identified as Tabetha Fetterman (32) of Newville. As the Officer approached he observed a strong odor of perfume emanating from the vehicle. Fetterman exhibited glassy/watery eyes and nervous behavior. Additional question ensued which led to a vehicle search. The search yielded the discovery of a baggie of marijuana, several prescription pill bottles containing Amphetamine salts, Cocaine, rolled up bill and an unknown pill. Fetterman was put through the Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST). At the conclusion of the exercises, Fetterman was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. A recent toxicology report of Fetterman's blood shows that at the time of the traffic stop; Fetterman's blood contained a BAC of .103, 640 ng/mL of Benzoylecgonine and 62 ng/mL of Amphetamines.
