On 08/17/2023 at approximately 2248 a vehicle was observed failing to come to a complete stop at the intersection of West Big Spring Ave and West St. The vehicle then accelerated North on West St attempting to evade the Officer. The Officer was able to locate the vehicle parked at 60 West Main St with the operator still inside. The operator was identified as Haley Jumper (27) of Newburg. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Jumper had engaged in drug use while driving to Newville. Additionally, drug and drug paraphernalia were seized from the vehicle. Jumper was put through the SFST battery and subsequently arrested and transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing.
