On 03-05-2020 at approximately 1620 Newville Police conducted a traffic stop on a green Honda Civic for an equipment malfunction. The operator was identified as Jimmy Zayas of Carlisle. Officers discovered that Zayas was operating a vehicle with an expired inspection, expired registration, no insurance and a suspended/revoked drivers license. Additionally, it became apparent that Zayas was trying to conceal something from the Officer. After further investigation, it was discovered that Zayas was in possession of THC vape Oil, Butane Hash oil, marijuana (leafy form) and two smoking devices. Zayas was taken into custody and transported to Cumberland County Prison.
