Over the past few weeks Newville Police has received complaints in reference to two dogs running at large in the area of Springfield Avenue and Fairfield Street in Newville. The one dog is a cream color Pitbull and the other is a chocolate Lab. On 1/6/23 Newville Police took a report that the two dogs attacked a male and a female. On 1/7/23 Newville Police took another report that the Pitbull attacked a man and his wife and nipped the man’s foot. Newville Police have charged the owners with Dangerous Dogs under Title 3. Both dogs are to be kept in quarantine and only allowed out of the home while on leash and in the hands of the owner. If you see these dogs loose, take caution and contact Newville Police.
