On Tuesday September 16th, 2025, Shippensburg Police were dispatched to the first block of East Orange Street for a 911 hangup. Officers were waived down by a male later identified as GARRETT DAWSON of Shippensburg, who informed that he just assaulted a female. DAWSON was detained, after conducting an investigation DAWSON was arrested for Simple Assault and Harassment.
