Shippensburg Police received a found bicycle that was recovered in the parking lot by the Shippensburg Public Library. The bike is a girls model Murray mountain type bike, 15 speed, teal blue in color. The owner may claim the bike at the police station or call 717-532-7361.
The Shippensburg Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the 3 individuals in the attached photos. The female in the photo had just stolen the American Flag from the flag pole at the First Church of God located at the corner of N. Prince and E. King Streets. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department.
Shippensburg Police received a found cell phone this date. The phone was located at the intersection of North Penn and East Burd Streets. The phone is an Apple iPhone S, silver in color with an Otterbox Defender case, black in color. The phone is damaged. Shippensburg Police received a found dog that was found running loose on the 100 block of North Apple Avenue. The dog is a male Pitbull, mostly black with some white and was wearing a fluorescent green collar with no tags. The dog was taken to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. Shippensburg Police Department received a found bicycle located at 121 Lurgan Avenue this date. The bike is a Next brand Ascent model mountain bike, white in color, 21 speed. The owner may claim the bike at the police station or call 717-532-7361.
On Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at approximately 01:50 am, a male suspect punched an individual in the back of the head while walking out of Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar, located at 105 West King Street in Shippensburg Borough. The strike delivered by the suspect caused a laceration to the back of the victim's head and knocked the victim to the ground.
On Thursday, December 26, 2019 at approximately 1:15 p.m. a black male was dropped off by a taxi cab driver in the area of McDonald's, 300 block of E. King Street. The male exited the taxi and did not say anything, nor did he pay for the cab fare. The subject never returned to pay the fare. The subject is described as a black male with facial hair. He was last seen walking south across E.
