On March 27, 2015 at approximately 0156 hours, LOVE was seen staggering in the 100 block of North Queen Street; while being assisted by a friend. LOVE almost fell multiple times. After making contact with her, LOVE dispalyed multiple signs of intoxication; her speech was extremely slurred, she emanated the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from her breath, and she could barely stand on her own. Her blood alcohol concentration was .239%. She was charged with Public Drunkenness and transported, by EMS, to Chambersburg Hospital for alcohol overdose.

On said date and time, an older red pick-up truck, with possibly a push bar or something mounted on the front of the truck, rear-ended another occupied vehicle in the 100 block of East King Street. The driver of the struck vehicle spoke with the other driver brielfy before he fled the scene, south on South Prince Street. The driver of the suspect vehicle was described as a white male, 20 to 25 years of age, with scruffy facial hair.

Shippensburg Police were in the area of 16 North Washington Street and could hear a loud party coming from that residence. A male walked on the porch and threw a bottle of beer on the sidewalk. Police made contact with the renter and he was cited for the Borough Noise Ordinance after he cleaned up the bottle.

Shippensburg Police were asked to check on the welfare of a dog in the 100 block of South Penn Street. Upon investigation the rear door of a residence was found open. The house was searched and the dog was secured in the house and the renters were notified.

On Sunday, March 22, 2015 at approximately 0226 hours Officers made contact with Jennifer Roland, Roland had appeared to be extremely intoxicated to the point of not being able to walk on her own and almost fell into traffic when approached by the officers. Roland was uncooperative when SPD officers attempted to assist her, she was aressted for Public Drinkeness.

On Sunday, March 1, 2015 at approximately 0023 hours Shippensburg Police were called to 105 W King St. (Arooga's) for an active fight. Upon arrival witnesses stated that a male later identified as Steven HURDEN had started a fight inside the establishment and displayed a knife creating panic and more fights to break out. Upon SPD's arrival HURDEN still had the knife in his hand when approached by Officer's. HURDEN was taken taken into custody and transported to Cumberland County Prison where he made bail the following morning.

On Thursday, March 9, 2015 at approximately 2303 hours Shippensburg Police were dispatched to 111 S Prince Street for an intoxicated male; later identified as Christopher McClain who was  refusing to leave a residence after assaulting the renter of the residence. Upon arrival SPD was informed that the victim/renter of the residence had been sexually assaulted by McClain.

SPD was investigating a domestic dispute at 326 East Orange Street, Shippensburg, when Miller, who was intoxicated, became irate and combative and attetmped to strike a SPD officer. Miller had also damaged property inside the residence before and during police presence. Miller was charged with Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, and other charges. Miller was trasnported to Cumberland County Prison and arrainged, where bail was set at $5,000.00.

Shippensburg Police Department received a report of access device fraud.  The victim reported learning that their ATM card data / number had been compromised or cloned.  An unknown suspect made four withdraws from the victims account for a loss of $1,600 at two different ATMs.  The victim still had their ATM card and the withdraws occurred in Philadelphia, PA.  It is not known when or where the card data was compromised.

A 30 year old male was struck by a hit & run driver while they were crossing South Penn Street at East Garfield Street.  The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of moderate to minor injuries.  The hit & run vehicle was described as a silver four door passenger car.  The vehicle may had minor damage to the passenger side front corner.  The suspect vehicle was last seen south on South Penn Street.  Anyone who witnessed the incid

Sometime between 16:00 on Thursday, January 01, 2015 and 09:00 on Friday, January 02, 2015 an unknown person stole the victim's recycling container.  The container is plastic, blue in color and bears the victim's address.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Shippensburg Police at 717-532-7361, SP-2015-0017.
