On 4/12/16 at 2331 HRS, Shippensburg Police were summoned to 414 E. King St. for a domestic disturbance.  Upon investigation, Ashley M. SINGER and Mason A. TAYLOR of said address were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  On 5/3/16, criminal complaints were filed charging each with 2 counts of said violation.

The victim had a small package deliverd by the US Postal service to his residence on the above date and time   Sometime between the time of delivery and 1430 an unknown individual(s) removed the package from the front porch.

A neighbor reported a disturbance at 110 N. Queen St. Upon arrival, police observed the noise ordinance violation and made contact with renters Thomas SWARTZ, Austin ALLISON and Seth Lefever. Citations for the violation were subsequently filed when it was learned they were previously warned for the same violation.

     A neighbor reported a disturbance at 24 N. Queen St.  Upon arrival, police observed the noise ordinance violation and made contact with renters Tylere COOK and Cody BRUBAKER.  Citations for the violation were subsequently filed when it was learned they were warned for the same violation last week. 

     An all black 7 speed mountain bike was stolen from a residential porch in the 100 block of N. Penn St.  It is a  "Hyper" brand (white or silver outline lettering) 7 speed mountain bike - valued at $120.

Shippensburg Police arrested Davion MALWAH after he is alleged to have destroyed private property of the victim to include their vehicle.  The victim reported that MALWAH destroyed items within the victims apartment and forcibly took the victims cell phone from their hand.  The victim reported that MALWAH smashed the windshield on the victims vehicle, smashed a side window and removed components from the engine compartment and threw them around the street.

On Friday, March 25, 2016, at 7:38 PM, the Shippensburg Police Department was dispatched to Sheetz, 359 East King Street, for an attempt to puchase beer with a false identification. Upon police arrival, the male suspect was not on scene but left behind a South Carolina driver's license. During the investiagtion, it was found that a white male attempted to purchase two (2) six pack bottles of beer and provided said driver's license. While an employee was attempting to validate the license, the male suspect fled the store and entered the passenger side of a parked vehicle.

SPD received a report on Tuesday, December 1 from an apparent victim of an assault that occurred at 402 North Morris Street on Sunday, November 30 at approximately 11:00 PM. The reporting victim advised there was another assault victim from that night and she lived at 402 N. Morris St. with the assailant, identified as Clinton Bake. The reporting male victim received injuries from the assault, which included a nasal fracture and facial bruising. The residence in question was checked after the report but no contact was made with the female victim or Bake.

On August 22, 2015 Shippensburg arrested Michelle WEST on an arrest warrant from another agency.  WEST was operating a motor vehicle with a DUI revoked license.  WEST was found to be in the possession of an assortment of drug paraphernalia.  A criminal complaint was filed October 12, 2015 charging WEST with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a DUI revoked license.

Dustin REDDING was charged on October 6, 2015 with stealing a motor vehicle from back on September 6, 2015.  The vehicle was recovered on September 9, 2015 in York County by PSP York.  Dustin REDDING was developed as a suspect and interviewed today were he admitted to the theft.  He was arraigned before MDJ H. Anthony Adams and bail was set.  He was committed to Cumberland County Prison with parole detainer issued out of York County as he was already on probation.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Octoner 19, 2015.

Shippensburg Police received a report of a stolen vehicle that occurred sometime between 20:30 on Monday August 17 and 07:30 on Tuesday August 18.  The vehicle is a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe, green in color with (PA) registration JWP9272.  The vehicle has gray colored bumpers and there is a faded decal on the hood. 

On 5/1/15, Shippensburg Police were investigating a fight that occurred in front of the above residence.  Police located a suspect, 20 year old Taylor Charles HENRY hiding on a roof.  He was under age drinking and used his twin brother's name and social security number (only being 1 digit apart).  HENRY forged his brother's signature on a confession and again on a non-traffic citation.  The investigating officer learned of another investigation involving HENRY regarding alleged thefts from multiple Wal-Marts and provided the investigating police agenc

Sometime between 0200 - 0220, someone stole a blue and black backpack containing personal documents belonging to Calvyn HOOPER of Walnut Bottom.  HOOPER set it down outside Sheetz while he went inside.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Shippensburg Police.
