A fight occured at the Shippensburg Area Senior High School on this date. A sixteen year old female punched a fifteen year old female in the cheek. The fifteen year old suffered some swelling and two chipped teeth. The investigation is active and the sixteen year old could face charges of Simple Assault and Harrassment.

The defendant Donald P. SOCKS was renting an apartment at the above address.  The defendant told the landlord he had replaced the landlords washer and dryer with rented one and had his in storage somewhere.  The landlord evicted SOCKS and now is unable to find SOCKS or the washer and dryer.

SOCKS seems not to have a fixed address so a warrant is being requested.

~~Shippensburg Police responded to a Hit and Run accident at approximately 0317 hours on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Upon arrival the subject occupying the vehicle fled on foot when he saw the police. Suspect has been identified as Joesph Ahmed of Sykesville Maryland. Witnesses who came to his aide stated that when Ahmed exited the vehicle he pleaded with them not to call the police, stating that he "isn't drunk" and "would give them money". Witnesses also stated that they could smell alcohol coming from Ahmed's person and believed that he was intoxicated.

On May 7th, 2015 at 1835 hours, Shippensburg Police were dispatched to 228 Senior Drive, Shippensburg PA, for a domestic involving a son and his mother. Police arrived on scene to find that Lance Gillan (the son) had drank a full bottle of jagermeister and part of another bottle. His mother, a 67 year old woman, dumped the second bottle down the drain, making Lance angry. Lance went on to strike his mother on the side of her head casuing her ear to appear red and swell.

     On 4/19/2015 at 0024 HRS, Sheetz security stopped a 17 year old male juvenile for stealing Gatorade and crackers.  Police were summoned and they located tobacco on his person as well.  He was warned about the curfew violation then taken to his mother's residence on S. Penn St. and released.  On 5/7 non-traffic citations were filed charging Retail theft and Tobacco Ordinance violations.

On 5/1/15 at 2209 HRS, witnesses summonded police after viewing a fight in the 400 block of E. King St.  Police arrived and cited 20 year old Tyler Anthony HENRY (Shippensburg) and 20 year old Corey Alan BARD (Fayetteville) with 1 count each Under age drinking.  Charges of Furnishing alcohol to minors are pending against two other adults.

SPD was dispatched to a fight call in the 400 block of E. King St.  As a result of the investigation, 20 year old Tyler Anthony HENRY (Shippensburg) and 20 year old Corey Alan BARD (Fayetteville) were each charged with 1 count of Under age drinking.  A keg and tap were seized by police.  Charges are pending against 2 others for Furnishing alcohol to minors.

A Sheetz employee turned in a wallet found some time ago.  Christian MILLER of Orrtanna can claim his wallet at the Shippensburg Police Department.

Sometime between 0200 - 0220, someone stole a blue and black backpack containing personal documents belonging to Calvyn HOOPER of Walnut Bottom.  HOOPER set it down outside Sheetz while he went inside.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Shippensburg Police.
